The Cavs = Real Madrid comparison is a little bit of a stretch. Real is the most storied club in world soccer and the Cavs have just recently won their first ever title. They also splash like crazy on superstars. The Celtics, even if they arent very good, would probably be a better comparison.

I would agree that it's a bit of a stretch. The reason I didn't compare them with the Celtics is that they are not contenders right now, while the Cavs and Madrid are. Also, I saw the similarities between LeBron and Ronaldo, and ran with it. :-P

Also, the best comparison to Real would be a franchise who has historically and currently always been a contender in the NBA, and there's no one franchise that fits it right now.
